Mick is not only the friendly Customer Services Coordinator for Kai Wing Chun he is also an avid Wing Chun practitioner himself. He began his training in 2004 at Sifu Jim Fung’s International Wing Chun Academy where he first met and trained with Sifu Kai who is Mick’s Sihing (older brother).
Mick completed his Certificate IV in Wing Chun Instruction at the IWCA and then moved to Hong Kong to train directly under Sigung Chu Shong Tin. He was fortunate enough to train with Sigung Chu for 6 whole years during which time he corrected a substantial abnormality in his spine —- simply by practising Siu Nim Tau.
While reaping the many benefits Wing Chun has to offer he reconnected with his love for human movement via activities like Foundation Training, playing squash, stretching and bodyweight exercises.
